Course overview
Summary: This is a graduate course in applied cryptography. We will spend roughly one week reviewing the fundamental topics that you will need throughout the course. After that, we will jump into advanced cryptographic primitives, with a focus on those used in practice and those with the potential to be used in practice.
Prerequisites: We will assume that you have taken an intro cryptography course, such as 6.1600 or similar. You may take 6.5610 without having taken an intro crypto course, but you will have to do some background reading to keep up with the course material. The 6.1600 lecture notes may be a useful reference.
Policies: Please make sure to read the course policies. You are responsible for following the collaboration policy.
